Orlando Weather in January

January is Orlando's coolest month: highs average 69.1°F, lows dip to a genuinely chilly-for-Florida 51.3°F, and rain stays light at 6.1 days on average, mild, dry, and comfortable for a full day of theme park walking.

Humidity is at its yearly low of 74%, and mornings can start crisp enough that a light jacket is genuinely useful before the day warms up.

Orlando is inland, so there's no beach or sea temperature here, the nearest coast (Cocoa Beach on the Atlantic side) is about an hour's drive, a reasonable day trip if you want sand and surf alongside the parks.

Crowds are driven by school calendars, not weather, and January has two real spikes: the first week or two, when winter-break travelers are still around, and the Martin Luther King Jr. weekend in mid-January, both are worth avoiding if low crowds matter more than anything else.
